Srinagar's Jamia Masjid bans men, women from sitting together in lawns

The management of the 14th-century Jamia Masjid in Srinagar has banned photography inside the mosque and asked men and women not to sit together in its lawns. "Even equipment used to click...photos...need to be stopped at the gate forthwith...Nobody is allowed to have lunch or any kind of eatables inside the mosque," a notification pasted in the mosque complex said.
