Stabbing attack in Amsterdam injures 5 people, motive unknown

As many as five people were injured in a stabbing incident near central Dam Square in Amsterdam on Thursday, the Dutch police said in a statement. "We currently have no information about the cause or motive of the stabbing incident. This is part of our investigation," the police added. A suspect has been taken into custody.
