Stampede caused during Nehru's Kumbh visit, thousands died: PM Modi

Addressing a rally in Uttar Pradesh's Kaushambi on Wednesday, PM Narendra Modi claimed a stampede was caused due to mismanagement during the then PM late Jawaharlal Nehru's visit to the Kumbh. PM Modi claimed that thousands of people died in the stampede. He further alleged that the media didn't cover this incident to avoid any stain on Nehru-led government.
