Stampede-like situation at Ujjain temple that opens only for one day in a year, several injured

Several devotees were injured following a stampede-like situation amid heavy Nag Panchami crowds at Ujjain's Nagchandreshwar Temple on Monday. The shrine, located inside the Mahakaleshwar Temple complex, opens to devotees only once a year for 24 hours on Nag Panchami. The injured have been admitted to Ujjain District Hospital.
