Stanford unveils AI agent that automates complex biomedical research

Stanford researchers have unveiled Biomni, a general-purpose AI agent that automates complex biomedical research workflows. With a single prompt, it can carry out an entire research workflow, including database searches, code generation, disease gene identification, and detailed lab instructions. Scientists can use natural-language prompts to let Biomni plan and execute workflows autonomously.
