Star Health Insurance employee selling customers' data for ₹1.25 crore, claims X user

A Star Health Insurance employee was offering direct illegal API access to full customer medical records for $150,000 (₹1.25 crore), an X user claimed. Another X user claimed the threat actor launched self-hosted data leak bots for customers and insurance claims data leak. Last month, the insurer assured there was "no widespread compromise" after Reuters reported Star Health's data leak.
