Star of the South: The diamond once owned by Baroda's Royalty

The most iconic precious stones and jewels were owned by Indian royals before they ended up in museums and auction houses abroad. The Star of the South diamond belonged to the Royal family of Baroda—the Gaekwads. It was found in Brazil, 150 years ago. It was last seen on a Cartier bracelet worn by Sheikha Moza of Qatar.
