Starcloud raises ₹1,608 cr fund to build data centres in space

Starcloud raised $170 million (nearly ₹1,608 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Benchmark and EQT Ventures. This took Starcloud's valuation to $1.1 billion (nearly ₹10,402.7 crore), making it one of the fastest startups to reach unicorn status after graduating from Y Combinator. Starcloud, which builds data centres in space, will use the capital to fund next-generation satellites.
