Starlink rules ban drone piloting unless SpaceX agrees by contract

Elon Musk said on Saturday that Ukraine's military violated Starlink's terms by using it for drone strikes and that the "loophole" closed last week. Starlink's usage policy bans remotely piloting drones "unless otherwise contractually permitted by SpaceX". Archived copies show the clause was added in early 2026, and none of Starlink's US or Ukraine legal documents changed last week.
