Starship had exploded due to fires from leaking propellant: SpaceX

SpaceX said the world's most powerful rocket, Starship, exploded after it sustained fires from leaking propellant in the Super Heavy booster, which eventually severed connection with primary flight computer. "This led to a loss of communications...and control of [Starship]," SpaceX said. Starship's self-destruction was delayed despite its autonomous safety system (AFSS) issuing a destruct command.
