Apna Mart lays off 40 staff as AI makes few jobs redundant: Report

Accel and Peak XV Partners-backed grocery delivery startup Apna Mart has laid off 10% of its workforce, affecting 35-40 employees across various verticals. The company said certain roles have become redundant as AI now handles tasks previously done by humans, Economic Times reported. Some employees were also let go as the company shifts its base from Bengaluru to Gurugram.
