Startup founder apologises for texting employee on his wedding day

E-commerce analytics startup Triple Whale Co-founder AJ Orbach apologised after facing backlash for messaging an employee on his wedding day. In a now-deleted post, Orbach had hailed the employee’s commitment to showing up online even on his wedding day. The post was, however, criticised for promoting unhealthy work expectations. "I'm sorry. To the employee I never should've messaged," AJ said.
