Startup founder tries to download app using Claude, ends up getting hacked

Numa, co-founder of London-based startup ReFi Hub, said he was hacked while using Claude to install a transcription app. Claude provided a download link that led to fake website containing malware, which ran instantly and "tried to take everything" from him. He later wiped his laptop and found a malicious file in his backup that could've re-downloaded malware if restored.
