Startup funding jumps 28% to $219.2 million despite fewer deals

Indian startups raised $219.2 million across 18 funding deals in the week ended July 9, up 28.3% from the previous week despite fewer transactions. The increase was driven by late-stage funding, which jumped to $167.7 million and accounted for nearly 76% of the total. Early-stage and seed funding, however, declined week-on-week.
