Startup unveils India's 1st high-altitude balloon for disaster monitoring

Andhra Pradesh-based startup Red Balloon Aerospace launched India's first indigenous high-altitude super-pressure balloon from Vijayawada. Part of its VISTA platform under Mission SANA, the balloon reached about 25 km above Earth carrying commercial payloads from seven national and international partners. The platform supports facilities like telecom, disaster monitoring and Earth observation.
