State funeral for Sridevi ordered by Maha CM: RTI reply

The state funeral accorded to veteran Bollywood actress Sridevi was under the instructions of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, as revealed in response to an RTI query on Friday. RTI activist Anil Galgali had sought a response from the government as to who had the power to authorise the state funeral for the actress and the past recipients of it.
