Stellantis to lay off 900 US employees after Trump's tariff move

Stellantis NV, maker of Ram Trucks and Jeeps, will temporarily be laying off 900 workers at five US facilities after President Donald Trump's tariff announcement, the company said. Additionally, it'll be temporarily pausing production at an assembly plant in Mexico and Canada. Trump had declared a 25% tariff on all imported vehicles, with charges coming into effect as of Thursday.
