Steve Elworthy, an England Cricket Board official and ex-South African player, has been appointed the Managing Director of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup, which will be held in England and Wales. He will also oversee the Champions Trophy and the Women’s World Cup in 2017. Elworthy has been Tournament Director of the 2013 Champions Trophy, besides other events.
