Stirling becomes 3rd cricketer to feature in nine T20 WC editions

Ireland captain Paul Stirling joined Rohit Sharma and Shakib Al Hasan among players to feature in the most men's T20 World Cups. The trio have played at least one match in nine editions of the tournament. The 35-year-old achieved the feat during Ireland's T20 World Cup 2026 opener against Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
