Stone pelting in Ujjain during Shahi Masjid demolition

Tension erupted in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain as protesters pelted stones at police during demolition of a portion of Shahi Masjid for road-widening. Six officers were injured and tear gas and cane charges were used to disperse the crowd. Ten FIRs were registered, including against five social media influencers. Around 2,500 police personnel were deployed and a HC hearing is scheduled.
