Stones pelted, cars vandalised in UP after Ambedkar statue damaged

Stones were pelted and several vehicles were damaged in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri on Ambedkar Jayanti after news spread that a statue of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar was damaged. According to reports, villagers had installed the statue but later left for a rally. They alleged that a woman arrived with police and attempted to remove the statue, resulting in its damage.
