Stones pelted as 2 groups clash during Durga Visarjan in Chhattisgarh

Two groups going to perform Durga Visarjan got into an altercation with each other in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur on Friday. ASP Rajendra Jaiswal said the groups, which belonged to two different Durga Pandal committees, wanted to immerse the idol first. They started pelting stones and also used sticks and rods against each other. An idol of goddess Durga was reportedly vandalised.
