Strait of Hormuz open to US vessels, but needs consent: Iran

Iran's Foreign Ministry said the Strait of Hormuz is open even to US vessels. However, it added that the transit requires Iran's consent and no hostile behaviour from US. This comes after Iran allows ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz as part of two-week ceasefire agreement with US. Iran proposed transit fees on ships passing through the waterway.
