Strait of Hormuz traffic hits two-month high as route reopens

Shipping activity through the Strait of Hormuz climbed to its highest level in two months after the US and Iran agreed to reopen the key waterway under a ceasefire deal. According to AXSMarine, 25 commercial vessels transited the strait on Thursday. Iranian forces had shut the Strait following US and Israeli attacks that triggered the conflict on February 28.
