Stranger offers tea, steals elderly woman's gold chain in B'luru

A stranger allegedly befriended an elderly woman at Bengaluru's Satellite bus stand, offered her tea and stole her 29-gram gold chain after she fell asleep. Chennamma told police she suspected the tea was drugged. In a separate case, a woman alleged her 25-gram gold chain worth ₹4 lakh went missing at a Bengaluru salon. Police are investigating both complaints.
