Streaked slopes on Mars probably not signs of water flow: Study

A new study has contended the earlier interpretations that dark streaks running down the sides of cliffs could be evidence of presence of water on the red planet. The researchers have concluded that they were created probably through dry processes that left the superficial appearance of liquid flows. The patterns could've appeared due to tiny dust particles, a researcher said.
