Strongly object: India as US says it's 'closely monitoring' Kejriwal's arrest

Ministry of External Affairs on Wednesday expressed "strong objection" after US State Department said it was "closely monitoring" Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's arrest. "In diplomacy, states are expected to be respectful of...internal affairs of others," it said, as US diplomat Gloria Berbena was summoned over the remarks. "Casting aspersions" on India's legal processes is "unwarranted", it added.
