Student attempts suicide in Pune, critical condition in hospital

A 21-year-old student from Pune's DY Patil College, Pimpri Chinchwad, attempted suicide by jumping from Sant Tukaram Nagar Metro Station around 6 pm on Monday. Police reports suggest that financial struggles and family pressure may have contributed to his distress. He was rushed to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial (YCM) Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
