Student in Pune loses life as lightning hits scooter

In Phaltan, close to Satara, lightning struck an electric scooter, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old student at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) and the injury of two more pupils. According to officials, the incident was reported at Sarde village on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Ahmednagar district resident Gyaneshwar Dhole.
