Student who hacked IIT-Kanpur website after being denied admission gets 2nd chance

A student hacked websites of IIT-Kanpur and IIT-Madras after being denied participation in the hackathon required for admission in IIT-Kanpur's new Bachelor of Cyber Security programme. The institute has now decided to give him a second chance, stating, "We'll invite the student...assess his technical skills through a proper test and...give him an opportunity in the next admission cycle."
