Students Build AI-Powered Weeding Robot To Help Farmers Cut Costs

Rahul Arepaka, founder of Harvested Robotics, collaborated with three other engineering students to create Rakshak, an AI-powered laser-weeding robot that can be attached to a tractor. It effectively identifies and eliminates weeds without harming crops, thereby cutting farmers' costs for manual labour and reducing chemical usage. This product is expected to be priced at Rs 10 lakh.
