Students choked, beaten up during protest in T'gana; BJP shares video

Students protested in Telangana's Mahabubabad against the proposed merger of polytechnic colleges with Young India Skills University. During the protest, a video allegedly showed a police personnel grabbing at least two students by their throats and charging students with batons. BJP Telangana said, "The Congress government is suppressing students who are fighting for their rights."
