Students detained ahead of Amit Shah’s Alwar visit over planned black-flag protest

Rajasthan Police detained several college students in Alwar ahead of Home Minister Amit Shah's visit, saying they planned a black-flag protest. Students intended to raise issues, including July's lathi-charge on CJP protesters at Jantar Mantar, poor roads, the alleged Matsya scam and restoration of student union elections. Shah is scheduled to address a public meeting in Alwar later today.
