Students forced to wash mid-day meal plates near drain in K'taka

Visuals from a government primary school in Karnataka’s Alabal village showed students washing their midday meal plates beside an open drain, triggering outrage. Photos showed children squatting near the drain and cleaning their plates with water from a pipe.
