Students play Holi at AMU amid heavy police deployment

Students celebrated Holi at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) amid heavy police deployment. Earlier, AMU had denied permission to celebrate the festival, but later allowed a 'Holi Milan' event at Non-Resident Students' Club on March 13 and 14 within specified time frame following protests by student groups. Akhil Bharatiya Karni Sena had also alleged discrimination by AMU against Hindu students.
