Students to now study for 4 years instead of 3 to get honours degree: Reports

Students will now get an undergraduate honours degree after completing a four-year course, according to new norms prepared by University Grants Commission (UGC), reports said. Students can leave after one year with a certificate, after two years with a diploma, after three years with a bachelor's degree, and complete four years to receive a bachelor's degree with honours or research.
