Students who ousted Hasina set to float political party in B'desh

Bangladeshi students, who led last year's protests that ousted ex-Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, are set to launch a political party this week, reports claimed. The Students Against Discrimination group, which led the uprising, will reportedly be headed by student leader Nahid Islam. Bangladesh interim government's head Muhammad Yunus has stated that polls could occur by late 2025 or early 2026.
