Study links Omega-3 supplements to cognitive decline in seniors

A study published in The Journal of Prevention of Alzheimer's Disease said Omega-3 supplements may be linked to a faster cognitive decline in older adults. The study examined cognitive and brain imaging changes in Omega-3 users, revealing a significant drop in brain glucose metabolism in brain regions vulnerable to Alzheimer's disease, which they said may be linked to Omega-3 supplementation.
