Studying abroad to return to India is worst ROI: Ashwin Damera

Half of Indian student visa applications to the US get rejected, and many who reach it struggle for jobs as firms avoid hiring on OPT, Ashwin Damera, an entrepreneur, said. Spending ₹2 crore on a US degree and returning to a ₹20 lakh Indian salary "is the worst ROI decision ever", he warned, unless family wealth makes the cost irrelevant.
