Submerged ancient Aboriginal sites found: Australian scientists

Australian scientists claim to have found the first confirmed underwater Aboriginal archaeological sites off the coast of Australia. At one of the sites, located in Cape Bruguieres Channel, divers identified 269 artefacts that were at least 7,000 years old. The other site, in the Flying Foam Passage, had a single artefact that is 8,500 years old.
