Suburban trains coming soon between Mumbai & Surat

Commuters might soon be able to travel to Surat from Mumbai on local trains. Authorities are now exploring suburban train-type services between these two destinations as a long-term plan. If this becomes a reality, it could provide significant relief to thousands of daily commuters. Western Railway is planning to construct new platforms to accommodate suburban trains at Surat Railway Station.
