Sudan to access $2 bn in World Bank grants after settling debts

Sudan can access nearly $2 billion in grants from World Bank's International Development Association, a bank official said. It comes after Sudan cleared its debt to the bank, which was facilitated by a $1.15 billion bridge loan from the United States. Sudan's cabinet said that agriculture, infrastructure, health and education have been highlighted as priority areas for investment.
