Sudan's key pro-democracy groups release 1st political charter

The main pro-democracy groups of Sudan on Sunday released a political charter for the first time, aiming to unify factions and bring democracy. As per charter, an appointed PM will serve as head of state and military commander-in-chief for a transition period of 2 years until a constitution is ratified. Sudan plunged into crisis after military coup in October 2021.
