Sudarshan TV show on UPSC violated programme code: Centre to SC

The Centre on Wednesday told the Supreme Court that Sudarshan TV's show, which allegedly targeted UPSC candidates on the basis of religion, prima facie violated programme code. The channel has been asked to respond to a show cause notice by September 28, the Centre added. The top court had stayed the telecast of the show on September 15.
