Sumit Antil breaks world record at Para Games with 72.29m throw

25-year-old Indian para athlete, Sumit Antil shattered the world record at the ongoing Asian Para Games 2023 on Wednesday with his 73.29m throw in javelin throw F64 finals. While he finished at the top with his record-breaking coming in the third attempt, Pushpendra Singh clinched the bronze with his best throw of 62.06m.
