Sun Pharma hit by ransomware attack, company data stolen

After Sun Pharma suffered an "information security incident" on March 2, a ransomware group has claimed responsibility 25 days later. "The incident's effect on the IT systems includes a breach of certain file systems and theft of certain company and personal data," the company said. As part of containment, Sun Pharma isolated its network which impacted its business operations.
