Sun Pharma recalls 24,194 prefilled syringes in US as glass found

Sun Pharma is recalling 24,194 prefilled syringes of Fyremadel, which is used to treat infertility in women, from the US market. As per the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Mumbai-based drug major is recalling the injections after a piece of glass was found in a prefilled syringe. The company initiated the recall on April 19, the FDA stated.
