Chennai-born Sundar Pichai, who was Google's Senior Vice-President of products, has replaced Larry Page as the company’s CEO. The 43-year-old will help the now slimmed-down Google (or Google Minus) to focus on its core business in advertising, mobile, search, and video. This comes after Google rebranded itself as Alphabet, a “collection of companies,” the largest of which is Google.
