Sunil Mittal's family pledges ₹7,000 crore to charity

Airtel Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal on Thursday said the Bharti family has pledged ₹7,000 crore (10%) of their wealth to support activities of the group's philanthropic arm, Bharti Foundation. The foundation will set up Satya Bharti University to offer free education to underprivileged youth. The university will have a strong focus on new age technologies like artificial intelligence and robotics.
