Sunil Mittal joins rival Ambani to make satellite companies buy spectrum

Airtel's Sunil Bharti Mittal has backed rival Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio's pitch for satellite companies to buy airwaves for telecom services. "Satellite companies who have ambitions to come into urban areas...need to pay the telecom licenses like everyone else," Mittal said. Earlier, Ambani challenged TRAI's decision that home satellite broadband spectrum should be allocated, not auctioned.
